Purpose of this Document

The purpose of this document is to provide general information about American Sign Language-English video remote

interpreting services and to set out recommendations for working conditions that promote effective and sustainable

quality interpreting services for all users, subsequently maintaining the health and wellbeing of interpreters working in

these environments. It is intended to provide important information for consumers regarding the appropriate
